What usually goes wrong
The shingles are only half the roof. Synthetic underlayment, ice and water barrier at valleys and eaves, proper starter strip, correct nailing pattern, ridge ventilation and clean flashing are what decide whether the roof reaches its rated life. Cheap installs skip those details because you cannot see them from the driveway. We do not.
How we solve it
We help you pick the line and color with real samples at your home, then install the complete system: deck check, underlayment, starter, field shingles, hip and ridge, vents and flashing. The finished roof gets a drone flyover so you can see every slope.

What actually sets the price of shingle roofing
No two roofs cost the same, and anyone who quotes over the phone is guessing. These are the six things we measure before we write a number.
Steeper and larger roofs take more material and more time on the rope. Both are measured, not guessed.

02What are cool roof shingles and do I need them?
Cool roof shingles reflect more sunlight and keep the attic cooler. California Title 24 requires them for many reroofs in the hotter inland climate zones, including much of Contra Costa and Alameda Counties. We handle the compliance paperwork.
03How long do architectural shingles last here?
Twenty five to thirty years when installed as a full system with proper ventilation. Inland heat shortens the life of a poorly ventilated roof, which is why we address airflow on every job.
04Can I put new shingles over my old ones?
California allows one overlay in some cases, but we almost never recommend it. You cannot inspect the deck, the new roof follows every flaw in the old one, and the warranty suffers. A tear off costs a little more and lasts far longer.
