What we do
TPO is a white reflective single ply membrane that is heat welded at every seam into one continuous waterproof layer. It reflects summer heat, resists UV and ponding water, and meets cool roof requirements for commercial and residential low slope roofs. We install TPO on homes, additions, apartment buildings and commercial properties across the Bay Area.

When TPO is the right choice
What usually goes wrong
If your flat roof has open seams, if the building runs hot in summer, or if you are replacing an aging torch down or built up roof, TPO is usually the best value. It is lighter than built up systems, faster to install, and the white surface can cut cooling costs noticeably in inland cities.
How we solve it
We remove or prepare the existing roof, correct the slope, install cover board or insulation as specified, roll out the TPO, and heat weld every seam and flashing detail. Seams are probed and tested before the roof is signed off.

What actually sets the price of tpo roofing
No two roofs cost the same, and anyone who quotes over the phone is guessing. These are the six things we measure before we write a number.
Steeper and larger roofs take more material and more time on the rope. Both are measured, not guessed.
One layer or two, and whether the old roof is shingle, shake or tile, changes the labor and the disposal.
Rotten sheets are replaced at a per sheet price you approve before we start, never a surprise on the invoice.

Twenty to thirty years when installed with proper drainage and welded flashing. The thicker 80 mil membrane adds life on roofs with foot traffic or equipment.
02Is TPO good for homes?
Yes. It is one of the best options for modern flat roofed homes, additions and ADUs, especially where a reflective roof helps with summer cooling.
03TPO or PVC?
Both are welded single ply membranes. PVC resists grease and chemicals better, which matters for restaurants. TPO is the better value for most homes and offices.
04Can you install TPO over my existing roof?
Sometimes, if the existing roof is dry and the deck is sound. We test for trapped moisture first. Wet insulation under a new membrane is a roof that fails early.
